A classic sun ray design is carved into the reverse of the camphor glass set into this Art Deco ring. In the center of the glass plaque is a white gold diamond shape set with a small round diamond. The ring is 14k white gold, and the marquise shape is lovely. Circa 1950.

Camphor glass was a popular material for jewelry in the 1920s. Clear glass was exposed to hydrofluoric acid fumes, creating a frosted, opaque look.

Details.....The ring is currently a size 4. The ring measures 25.2mm x 11.3mm at the top and 1.6mm at the shoulder. In Excellent vintage condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of their charm.
