This ceramic piece is shaped & painted to look like a book. There is a cork at the top with a small ceramic cap. The piece is glazed in a deep terra cotta glaze with gilt accents. The front reads "Vieille Reserve" with a flower and bow decoration below. The spine has the same decoration as the "cover" and the word Vieille translates to "Old" so it reads "old reserve." Cheeky, non?

This piece measures 5"W x 2.5"D x 6.75"H. Very light surface wear on bottom of piece, but overall very good condition.
